Applications to Unemployment insurance fund (UIF) Covid-19 Temporary assistance scheme for employees (Ters) program reopened Tuesday.

Who qualifies?

  • Rooms hosting auctions

  • Professional sport

  • Venues for social events, concerts and shows

  • The alcohol industry

  • Aviation

  • Casino

  • Hospitality

  • Tourism

  • Companies that are part of the value chains of the above industries

In a nutshell, workers in industries most affected by level four lockdown regulations may apply.

Beneficiaries will be paid directly to their bank account from July 26.
